I can remember that. When you put the sign up behind the stage you did it by abbreviation "OMGDHBB" and all of the punters were asking " Who The Hell Is That".
It was a great night. But then, every time Gerry and others put a jam together it was always a good night.
If you have my recording of that gig does that mean you have found another box ??

I'm going down to the studio this afternoon. Remember you guys in the UK are 8 hours in front of us here in the USA. Like it's 10 am here and 6pm there.
I have been on the phone to them this morning and the only problem there is at the moment is tfansferring the tape from the UK's PAL system to our NTFS system but we are looking at a converter.
I should be able to a deal with them on the cost. I want these tapes looked at. They want some commercial art layouts photographed. I can do that. So, I should be able to get a cheaper rate.
I'll let you guys know what's happening as soon as I know.

Damn !!! I take off for a bit and the board DIES !!! Hasn't anyone else got anything to post on here.
Anyway, I've got a bit of info on the Piss Pots. I've even got a couple of pictures somewhere.
Jimmy Riddle And The Piss Pots while playing out at The Wake Arms in the late 60's and early 70's were the subject of the East London phrase "The Dogs Bollocks"
As you must remember The Wake Arms was another great music venue. Sunday nights drew the biker crowd. What the hell I was doing there is anybody's guess.
While having a chat with Combo Pete, the Wake Arms MCC, about Nemo (His Pet Rat) , the following transpired :-
Combo Pete - Look At The Bollocks On That Rat
Andy Lightshow - Shut Up, This Bands The Rats Bollocks
Combo Pete - My Dog's Got Bigger Ones
Andy Lightshow - Ok, This Bands The Dogs Bollocks
From there DOGS BOLLOCKS entered the biker slang vocabulary and spread to general usage. It even had a BEER named after it.
I'll post more info about Jimmy Riddle And The Piss Pots later today.

Jimmy Riddle And The Piss Pots were more widely known under the name SAM APPLE PIE. They also did a few London gigs as THE VIPERS. I've got a few pics that I'll post after this.
I think that the regular line up was :- Sam Sampson, Andy Johnson (Snake), Andy Clark, Dave Charles, Bob Rennie (Dog), and Steve Jolly. On a few tracks they added Harry Klein on Sax, and Malcom Morley on Keyboards.
May have have missed a few names out here, but, remember I'm getting old, and, my memory is failing more and more. However, I do remember seeing this band and taking pics many years before my days at The Bridge, like 1969 to 1973.........
