I was searching for some bands then I entered the The Comsat Angels site. There is their tour list divided by year:

http://dspace.dial.pipex.com/town/pipexdsl/p/apup94/csa/live.htm

I will try to find something about The Fixx.

Without a blink of an eye I found them. This band still plays... It seems they started to play in 1980 (The official site tells only that they got into big audiences in 1982, nothing more before that, but then Wikipedia helped me).

Maybe it will give you some light...

well Lira, i had a look at the fixx web site you sent,i do know Gary Tibbs, but not from the Bridge House,he played with Bryan Ferry, in the 80s,I met him When i was Making a film in 1988,he came down to try to get the incedentle music contract, he lost out to Nick Mason of Pink Floyd, who did the music for our Film.
Gary is a really nice fellow who got freindly with my son Glen.Glad he is still working.

Chris was on the T.V Last week talking about his freindship with Marc Bolan, they were really good pals. Syd.of Syd and Zilla, saw it and told Jeff about it, who past on to me
i am sorry to have missed it so if anyone recorded it  please let me know.It seems Chris who is a very strong character, became very emotional while talking about the old days, with Marc.the show was a dedication on the 30 th annarversary of his death.
wonder if he ever came to the Bridge house, he was  born and lived in Hackney only 30 minutes away, next time i speak to Chris, i will get a update

I can't even find any mention of the program. I don't know if the content we get over here is different from the UK but our list of BBC4 articles is very small.

Has anyone got all of the details of the show. I need to know what the program was called. Oggy said it was "Marc Bolan : The Final Word" But I need to know the title of the show, not just the episode..................

If anyone can point me to a link it would save a lot of time.

Oggy, can you digitize the recording and send it over ?
