The thrill of this gig was seeing major recording stars, having fun on stage, we can only imaging the stress and worry they go through when the are playing to thousands of fans who are listening to ever note and every word spoken .So to see these musician on Stage enjoying them self’s, smoking drinking swearing, and just enjoying there self, not caring about the mistakes they may make, being so professional there was hardly any.
When Steve Marriott walk into the Bridge house, with Laurie O’Leary, who introduce him to me. I have known Laurie for many years. Nice to see him again

???and there must have been at least 20 other top class musician in the aurdience.,I knew it was going to be a great nigh ,so I arrange for it to be filmed, I got a local man it who had assured me it was his special past time using reel of video ,instead of film this would be more practical, ,at this time there were no video cassettes, that were to become the in think a few years later, Film would have cost thousands and lighting would have to be so bright it would have blinded everyone on stage. of course we listened to him because we never new any better. .it was to take us over 30 years to get them transferred to DVD. So here they are Please do not judge them by today’s standards.. they are really rough pictures but they are magical to all true Marriott friend, seeing him enjoying himself, having fun makes us realise how much we miss him now he is no longer with us. ,so enjoy these magic moments ,that can never be repeated when watching ,imagine you are with us at the gig (You may have been) like Stevie abbreviated and full of Joy, drinking Whiskey out of the bottle Smoking ,roll ups, we think? ,Ah dear, the more you look at this dvd the better it gets , because you are watching a genius at work Regards Terry Murphy.
