The name rings a bell but I can't remember them, unfortunately there seems to have been a number of bands with the same name which makes them a bit hard to track down on the net.

Interesting name Tokio Rose, came about from a American resident who went to work in Japan, she ended up getting a job on Tokio Radio, during world war 2,these broadcast were direct at the American prisons of war, which was great for them to here all the swing music she played, there was a lot of talk about the war etc.she could not wait to get back to America she was refuse a few time, eventually when
she did,she was arrested and charge with Treason, found guilty and jailed for 15 years, she serve 9 years,
after a lot of appeals she became the only person ever to be released and pardoned for the charge of treason,President Ford granted the pardon, she loved her husband who lived in Japan, she never went back for fear of being arrested, she lived to the age of 90.
.SO WAS IT TREASON WHEN TOKIO ROSE PLAYED THE RUSKIN INSTEAD OF THE BRIDGE HOUSE.
TREASON NO TRAITORS YES, Regard ,from special agent for the,Rock hall of Fame
if you would like some more info on Tokio Rose just post a message,
