yes Oggy they have come together, but the video has to be enhanced which will take a lot of work and time, poor old Jeff,So what Jeff has suggested is to release the sound tracks first while we work on the videos. We have had to spend a lot of money getting these video transformed,so if we can sell a few of the sound tracks we can use that money to get the videos finished, I hope it all works out okay Happy new year T,M

Hi,
How's it going with the video plans?
I was and still am a massive Marriott fan, having seen him perform countless times with Humble Pie, The Small Faces and subsequent ventures. I would certainly pay for a DVD copy and know a lot of other people who would too.
There's a Yahoo group called Illegal Smile that has around 400 or so Humble Pie fans connected to it and suspect they'd be highly interested. Please let me know if I can help in any way.
Cheers, Tony.

hi,Tony ,yes we got the dvd of Blind Drunk copied, from my point of view it was great to see him on the old Stage with Joe Brown And Chas N Dave..unfortunately there was only one camera used ,so the view is also limited, just to the front men,,The sound is not to bad, Steve keeps Swearing and drinking smoking?so it is a real Steve Marriott on stage,We are hoping to get a T.V. company interested ,in a documentary of the Bridge house, with there new ideas, can make it it look better, the tranfer cost a lot of money ,so if we sold any they would be quit costly Regards Terry M

Thanks Terry...I hope it happens! If you don't know the guy already you could try contacting John Hellier at www.wappingwharf.com for further help. John is something of a Marriott historian and has been behind a number of high profile events relating to Steve and the Small Faces. He's also co-authored the Marriott biography "All Too Beautiful" with Paolo Hewitt. So I imagine any unseen footage of Steve would be of great interest to him and others. John probably has some good contacts in the media world too. Just a thought. Cheers, Tony.

hi Tony,I called up the the illegal smile and John Hellier, after that it had to be Stevie Marriott,So sad almost all his life story on there, and money troubles through out his life and then a sad death,SO i watched my DVD of him enjoying himself at the Bridge house, and this is what it is ,a group of Musicians having fun,not worring about how it sounded ,not trying to hit the highs and lows Joe Brown sings Chas Hodges SONG massage parlour, chas and Dave doing backing vocals.Stevie on Guitar ,Kirk Duncan on keyboards,I am trying to contact Jim Leverton the bass player,he sings a song ,i want to check the line up with him,so if anyone can contact Jim ,let me know. So thank you Tony a nice couple of hours of Nostalgia,Regards Terry M

Hi Terry, hopefully John would have been helpful for you. I'd sure like to see that DVD and look forward to when it's available. As I've mentioned before, I've been a lifelong Marriott fan and really miss the guy, he was a natural talent.
I know Jim Leverton was last involved with Caravan and he also has a side project going. If I see anything relevant to him I'll let you know.
Cheers, Tony.

Hope I haven't got me facts wrong - in 2001 Castle Records finally released the Majik Mijits album recorded by Steve Marriott and Ronnie Lane (6 songs by one, half a dozen of the other) and the sleeve notes said the project was capped by an appearance at the Bridge House under the name Blind Drunk (Performing without a net!). This must have been in 1981 and the CD release features a short part of an encore of All or Nothing. Band featured Steve, Ronnie (though debilitated by MS by then) Zoot Money and Jim Leverton. I was totally unaware of this at the time. Anyone on here actually see the gig?

Only found this after I started another thread on the topic. I'm sure Blind Drunk must have been around 1981 though, not '79.

Stevie and Ronnie Lane got together in 1981,1st September,to record a album on Ronnies Mobile.which they did. this was on the new stage which we built at the end of 1979,The Recording of Stevie with Joe Brown and Chas n Dave was recorded on the old Stage, which was vacated in early 1980,we are very confident that this Video was filmed in 1978.we filmed Lea Harts Roll ups and Warm Jets the same week, and it was the debut of the Roll ups,.The posters on the back of the stage ,we check with our diaries ,we have researched to get the correct date,Blind Drunk did a lot of gigs for me over a 3 year period,,,We are Very pleased we have this footage on dvd so we can remember these wonderfull times at the Bridge House.Thank you for you observation,Terry M

Well worth a look! The footage may not be up to today's standards but it captures a 70's pub gig in all it's smoky glory. Steve is in good form and has some interesting names for the sound guys that night. The later Packet of Three stuff is good too.
