Searching through all the old Bridge House  files, we came across a receipt book for the 'Live - A Week at the Bridge E16'  album.

When we made this first album the pubs takings were used to finance the project. By the time we paid for the recordings, the hire of the 8-track machines, tapes and engineers etc, we were almost broke.

So we came up with the idea of taking a £1 deposit for the album, so we could get it released on time. Around a thousand people signed up for this. This is a list of the first few customers to order their copies.

In the Receipt Book,
I saw the Name Gary Baldry,he was at that time, thinking of becoming the Drummer in the U.KSubs.
which he did,and had a lot of success. Can you believe it, A PUNK,was inspired by the Live a week at the Bridge, album. Was he a friend of Kieth Sheppard, the Roll Ups Drummer, who is also in the receipt book?

well i think you have got me there Colin,Prize for first to enter,i should have carried on saying naming the artists. So you can collect your prize at the book launch and gig on the 3rd of August, between 6&7pm,if you cannot collect then ,the offer is nul and void.
one of your answers was wrong anyway
So the offer still stand a prize for The first person to name all the artists on the front cover of the book except Colin Rapp.It could be Colin in the hat,on the right side ,is it you Colin?T.M

How about if the prize is a light and bitter and the entry fee is a Martini.... I seem to recall that was the done currency of days gone by.
I spoke to Steve Powell at the Globe on Morning lane the other day and he said to get some promo stuff on the book to him and he'll put it in the pub

Terry,

There's a big star over the top right of the book advert but when I first looked at it - is it Danny Talbot out the Merton Parkas?
