Sorry to hear Deej past away last year,he was a real good guy.he was Lea Harts best friend and did all the recording and art work, for Lea (Barry) from his days with Slowbone and the Roll Ups.Peter Sarfas.who released some of the Slowbone album on his Pie Mash label.reminded me when i had a meeting with him this week.and as a tribute to Deej we may released some recordings of The Roll Ups,that Deej work on for me.When i took over the Bridge House in 1975.Slowbone played every Friday night, and the pub was packed every Gig.after about a year Barry became Lea,with a new line up and style of music and formed The Roll Ups.with his life long Bassis Jeff Peters.Lea hart is still in the music business.Managing ex Iron Maiden vocalist Paul Dianno.
Deej also did the art work on The Jab and Move Single, that son Glen recorded with the Repton Boxing Club.and can be viewed on the Bridge house DVD that has just been released..Deej we will not forget you.

Well the family put MickO`Brian to rest yesterday ,at the south essex cremortorium,RITA and I Were there to say our goodby,as was a really big crowd of Family and Freinds, and Musicians.Headed by Dave Edwards R.D.B. front man who made a heart rendering epiloge of his time in Micks company.touching the Coffin as he left the altar. Some great tune from his favourite tapes .a great version of Dennis Stettons favourite Aint no sunshine when she gone, sung by another Old Bridger Steve Waller who is also not with us,dying in 1990..Finishing with Stevie Smith (ex Salt)Ruthless blues band, great song about love..a nice reception at the huntingham in Upminster. We wish Kathy Micks Sister, our sincere best wishes.Rest in Peace Mick the Jug,or our name for him Cider and Lime T.M
