Hello Terry, Back in Gay Paris for another MissPrint show. We were accused of stealing someone elses design yesterday so things could get interesting. Regarding the Dead Flowers gig. I think this would have been their third gig, as the 1st was supporting us (Corvettes) at the Iron Bridge just down the road. I have a flyer for the second which was 18th march 79 supporting us again at our last gig at the Hartley Centre. Darren and Jeff have played me some of the punk tapes and I think the band doing 'These boots were made for walking' could be the Wasps. I lived down the same road as their drummer and his wife, who was the dolly bird on the front cover of 'Teenage Treats'. The girl band doing the cover versions is a mystery. It doesnt sound like Minnie Ralores, could it have been the Modettes? The Dead Flowers version of Stepping Stone goes on forever. If youre only gonna do one song do a long one! It was great to hear the Tickets gig as they were one of my favourite local bands. Dont forget I have Corvettes and Erazerhead material recorded at the Bridge if needed. All the best, Lee.

Futurama 1981, good to see Wasted Youth and U2 are together on the advert,Wasted were great that day ,and U2were unable to keep the audience in the frenzy that wasted had got them in,on there feet singing waving etc.after U2 first number they all sat on the grass again,But i have just heard U2 on the Radio ,they were fantastic, Bono Voice,is so good these days, see what 28 years of hard work does for a band ,how good would Wasted be,if they had nuckled down instead of folowing the rock n roll life style, that only laste 3 years, Young band starting out please take notice T.M

I was at the Bridge House the night before the Dead Flowers gig. My little sister was visiting from Yorkshire so I brought her down to see Kenny (oh the shame!) She was thrilled to bits to see a band who had been on Top of the Pops, live!
