Last Saturday me and my missus made the trek up to Wolverhampton to see them play and what a superb night we had.
Charlie Harper still rocks despite being the wrong side of 60, Slaughter had the crowd going wild but the real highlight was CockSParrer. It's amazing the following the boys have now as Wolverhampton Civic Hall holds a good few thousand and it was packed out although I doubt that there were many who could honestly say they saw them at the Bridgehouse, most of them were far too young!!
There were a few younger bands playing as well, namely Riot Squad, Goldblade and Deadline who are also well worth seeing if you like a bit of punk.
CockSParrer are going to headline the Rebellion Festival in Blackpool next August and it will be interesting to see how many other bands will be there with a Bridgehouse connection but I gather there will be quite a few Smiley

Hi Terry, sorry I've not been around for a while. Sorry too that I can't think of any info that would help about the UK Subs either-I never was one for keeping a diary or anything but I will have a word with a couple of mates who might be able to help. I'm interested in the book though, any ideas when he might be publishing it?

Terry I passed your e-mail along to a mate of mine. He's known Charlie Harper well for years so he's got plenty of tales to tell the guy writing the book!

saw charlie last night at the 12 bar doing an acoustic  gig complete with harmonica - weird and good fun at the same time.
