Hello Terry and all at the BH web site.

I've just finished reading your book and I am just writing to say how much I enjoyed it.  I could'nt put it down and read it in just one session.

Some of the names that were coming out of the pages at me stirred up so many memories that I kept running out to the kitchen to my misses shouting things like "Tour de Force... Tour de Force do you remember them!"

Me and my wife Carol were regular visitors to the BH and all the music pubs around East London at the time (we were just 15 when we started) but nothing matched the atmosphere of the BH on a packed night.  Infact the book had such an effect on me that I could'nt sleep what with all the memories it left with me.  I hope I can leave some here soon (if I'm on the right posting page.... I'm still finding my way around the web site).

Thanks again Terry for a fantastic book.

Kind Regards

Jamie & Carol

Does anybody remember a DJ called Alan Gibson who used to work in the Bridge House in the early/mid 70's? I often wonder what happened to him.
