Hey you guys. I'm looking for any information, pictures, links etc going back to the days when Chris Thompson was playing a few gigs with the SAS Band.
I know that they played on "TV London Today" a few years back.
I think that they also played under the name "Spikes All Star Band ".

Hi Colin Sadly the SAS website is "under reconstruction" and has been for months! Chris is still a regular guest of Spike's, schedule permitting. Here's a link to a youtube video posted before Xmas 2006 during preparations for the SAS Xmas gigs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfA3KYCePRg There's a few others, which you'll be able to find with a bit of searching around. I spent last weekend in Norway, watching Chris perform with Mads Eriksen & his band http://www.madseriksen.com/Two great gigs in a small club in Bergen, capacity around 200 or so, and filled I might add. Reminded me of the days in the Bridge when the stage was at the top bar, so packed you had to have your beer passed overhead. Those were the days!

Hey Paul, Thanks for the information. So, that's why I couldn't find the site. Checked out the You Tube video, but, I already have that one. Mads site gave me some of the info that I am looking for. So, I'm still looking for more.
I can remember the BH stage in the top bar. Also, the pints being passed overhead. You got that right. Those Were The Days.
So, send us a picture, to see if we recognise you.......................

Damn, memories. I haven't seen Colin Barton since I left the Bridge........
I had a back stage pass to a Pink Floyd concert at Birmingham's National Exhibition Center way back in 1984 where I took a stack of pics, and I last saw Roger Waters when Floyd played a gig here in 1997 (I think I have the year right) at The Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon where, again, I was invited back stage to take pictures.
