cheers terry, no i,m afraid i only dated maureen for about 5 months  Sad her dad disliked me from the off , he called me the wide boy from south london , always wondered whether he was refering to my 40 inch waist , but i remember him being a big copper who did,nt want me parking my noisey escort outside his house Wink if maureen comes on the forum i,d love to hear from her as we parted on good terms, we decided to go our seperate ways outside the bh just as dave edwards blasted out stay with me baby   Smiley, i think she started to go bh on a monday instead because if my memory serves me right did,nt rdb play sundays & mondays ?
anyway enough of me waffling  Roll Eyes , great forum and i,ll deffo make the trip over on the 10th see you then
cheers col

Morning Tel
It's Colin. We played in November in Wolverhampton to launch the new album and have got further things arranged for later in the year. There's also some talk of more gigs a bit further afield but we'll see how it goes. No-ones more surprised than us that people still want to come and hear the songs but we still have a laugh, so that's all that matters. The barnet's are a bit thinner in some cases (a lot in mine!!) and we'd struggle to get into those 28" waist Levis these days. First and foremost we're still all mates and still get over Upton Park for every game. The thing that leapt out of the book for me was the chance that you gave to us up and coming bands, even though we were crap and definately not your personal cup of tea. And for this we will always be eternally grateful (even if we did stick the £8.00 you paid us straight back over the bar!!). I hope the family are well mate and please pass on our best wishes to them all.

Here is a e,mail i received, today it mail like this that make the work worth while, any one remember,?

Hello Terry,I was looking around on the web and found this site,I came to the bridge house a lot with my group of mates 1977 and was friends with the band and everyone.I just passed my driving test and drove from Hackney in my 1966 triumph-which got nicked the second time I came to the pub!!but I did get it back.
Thank you for putting up with us,iam sure it was hard watching a bunch of young punks acting stupid-I though you might kill us sometimes so didn’t get out of hand too much.Maybe you remember the American girls that worked there?Lori and Melissa,I married Lori,so she could stay in the country,we moved to Los Angeles a few years later,I am still here on my 3rd wife and two kids.
I am so glad to have amazing memorys, thanks to people like you.
Say hello to anyone from wasted youth for me,next time iam home maybe I can drop in--Take care, sincerely Peter D
